These images are from a cooperative project in which I teamed up with a Spanish teacher to create a unit on Mexican artist and revolutionary Diego River. Through this one experience, the students learned Spanish language skills, history, political science, story-telling through art, transferring images by graphing, teamwork, and basic painting skills and techniques. It was an amazing and fun experience for all of us.
